These sessions are held from then end of October to the beginning of April.

Indoor spin classes are run by Tanya Jones (of Bee3Fitness)  and are 2.5-3.5 hour outdoor ride simulation with a focus on building strength and stamina. Dynamic stretches included after each ride.

The sessions are held at one of our houses in Ladner or Tswwassen on Saturday mornings at 8am  (2.5-3hrs).  Note: this is the start time - arrive early to be ready to go. Email stevestonathleticassociation@gmail.com for location.

Join us after the spin on Saturday mornings for coffee and treats (please bring a breakfast or snack item to share).

What to bring: bike, trainer including rear wheel skewer, front wheel stand, large towel or yoga mat to place under your bike (MANDATORY to protect the floors),  heart rate monitor and/or bike computer, water or your favorite sports drink and your appreciation of music.

The plan is for structured rides with appropriate build progressions for VO2 max, sweet spot threshold and strength focused aerobic endurance. When you sign up you will have access to the recorded Zoom session for one week and receive a weekly email with training tips and strategies as well as a recipe to help you nourish your performance.

If you have a smart trainer, the prebuilt workout is available on Trainerroad as part of the Bee3 Team. You do not need a smart trainer to get all the benefits of these sessions. Just show up, work hard and reap all the strength gains.

Tuesday Morning 7am (ZOOM ONLY)

60-75 min VO2 max focused ride plus a 10 min dynamic stretch routine

Winter block: Jan 2nd to Mar 19th 

12 weeks $189.00 (including GST)

 Saturday Morning 8am (ALTERNATING WEEKS IN-PERSON AND ZOOM)

I will be at Monica and Kevin’s garage every other week, but you are welcome to join them every week (unless otherwise stared) All session will be available on Zoom if you want to ride from home.

As we prepare for spring and the move to outdoor rides, a message from Coach Tanya:

I would like to thank all the spin class participants for their hard work and determination of the last few months. We have seen significant gains on strength and confidence to push hard and be okay. I'm excited for everyone to reap the benefits of their efforts during the upcoming outdoor rides and race season. Play hard and we'll be back at it on the fall.
