Thanks to everyone who attended the SAA Pancake Breakfast on Sunday. We had a great turn out of new, old and future members!

Set aside Monday December 12, 2011 for Women’s Night at Speed Theory.

On November 19^th the SAA had members participating in the Hyde Creek Masters 5K Swim Challenge in Port Coquitlam.

In the Team Competition we had: First leg: Erin Lee. Second leg: Tammi Mannering. Third leg: Jennifer Kay, Fourth leg: Dave Holder, and Fifth leg: Andrew Do. Each swam 1000m, with the team finishing in a total time of 1 hr 38 min for fourth place overall in the team event.

In the Solo Competition swimming the entire 5k herself in a final time of 1 h 30 min was Heather Young. Heather finished 4^th overall, and was the 2^nd place female.

Our South Delta friends are inviting SAA to their annual Christmas Party.  A great chance to share some holiday cheer with great friends!

Congratulations to Jane De Lemos, Doug Harris, Erin Lee and Dan McLaren who all ran the Fall Classic 10k this last weekend. Word is there were some very good times, including some PBs. Well done everyone!

The Aqua Sphere swim suits arrived through Speed Theory yesterday and you can pick up your order before the club swim session this Wednesday and Friday morning. If you haven’t paid for your suit yet, please bring payment (cash or chq).

Congratulations also to Tracy M. and Carmen C. who did the BBM full, George T. who did the half, and Dawne T. who did the 10 km.

Congratulations to both Benji C. and Linda H. for their runs at the 2011 ING New York Marathon!
