A quick reminder, if you have photos that you’d like to share with your SAA friends you can email Joanne Fox at web@thesaa.ca and we’ll add your snaps to the shared SAA photo album. We’ve got a couple of great shots of our SAA friends in the Omani Desert, the Grand Canyon, and at the Victoria marathon.

Spin classes have started on Wednesday nights. If you haven’t been before, you can check out what you’re missing by browsing the photo album below (thanks, Amanda!). These classes are a fun way to stay fit over the winter. Calvin brings his music and we bring our dance moves, er, I mean cycling legs. Next week, class is canceled (21-Oct) but after that we hope to see you at Watermania on Wednesday nights!

Email Joanne Fox at web@thesaa.ca if you have recent event photos that you’d like to share with your SAA friends. We’d love to post more photos up on the website along with the weekly race reports. If you have your own blog, we can also include it under the SAA Member Sites. I completed the ride last weekend with the mileage of 327km, it was a very scenic route and the weather co-operated for the most part, there were 1701 riders which raised 6.9 million dollars. These are huge numbers which will fuel the battle for research and care, but the war continues. I thank you again for your support, I could not have done this without you. I will be embarking on a different challenge next year. The Ride to survive is a one day 400km ride from Kelowna to Delta with 11000 feet of climbing over two mountains, this is a self supported ride and it is self supported, so every dollar raised will go to the cause. I hope i can count on your support again next year, I will send information out in early 2010. Again, hats off to all and have a great summer.
