track sessions work out- please read

The session will be 5 x 800 at ‘threshold’ pace with 1 min recovery. To calculate the pace please distribute this link or post it on your website – https://runsmartproject.com/calculator/. Put in your time from your last running event and then look at the training tab followed by the threshold pace. For instance, a 50 min 10K would mean you that your pace for each 800m in the training session should be 4:05.

For most people the pace is approximately their half marathon race pace but it is much better to use the calculator. The effort should not feel too demanding but ‘comfortably hard’. With a one minute between each 800 it is important to keep the pace in check.
