Boundary Bay 10km and New York Marathon
Once again The SAA had members running races all over the continent.
Debbie B and Duncan B both ran the Boundary Bay 10km. Debbie was 2nd woman overall and Duncan was in the top 10 finishers. Debbie was very happy with their results but running with her son Duncan was an even better reward.
On the east coast, The SAA had Dianne K and Tracy M running the New York Marathon.
“Well, The New York City Marathon definitely lived up to its reputation for being one of, if not the best marathons ever. The weather was cool and breezy, the crowds were wild and crazy and the 50 000 runners represented countries from all over the world. The entire experience was spectacular and unforgettable. What a day!” said Tracy.
