A very busy weekend
This past weekend saw SAA members out in a wide variety of events. In no particular order, we had Tracy Marshall at it again, this time in the Light at the End of the Tunnel Marathon. This race starts through a 2 mile old railway tunnel as it goes from Snoqualmie Pass to North Bend, WA.
Doing the the Seattle to Portland two day ride were Tammi Mannering and Jennifer Kay.
Also down in Washington at the Lake Stevens Ironman 70.3 racing was Jackie Davidson and Grand Yeh. Grand PB’ed despite almost being hit by and taking a tumble over a large falling branch!
Up in the Okanagan at the Peach Classic Triathlon in Penticton we had Ross Hales finishing 2nd in his age category, Joanne Fox was 1st in her age category and 4th place female overall, Rob Herron, Barton Pietras, Mike Berghammer, and Ellen Reid. And thanks to David Holder and Pam Nicols for cheering them on.
In the 2.1km Across the Lake Swim in Kelowna BC we had Rob and Heather Forbes, Joanne Fox, Ross Hales, Rob Herron, and Pam McNicol.
And finally, doing the very tough Knee Knacker 50km train run along the Baden-Powell CenÂtenÂnial Trail from HorseÂshoe Bay to Deep Cove were Pat Malaviarachchi and Benji Chu.
Well done everyone! I’m tired just thinking about all that!
