SAA Ice Breaker Triathlon – New Years Day

Working off the New Years Day tradition of a polar bear swim, a few crazies from the club are hosting an informal “Ice Breaker Triathlon” for Friday Jan 1st, 2010 at 10 am. There’s no registration, no fee, no timing chips, NO EXCUSES, but loads of fun to ring in the new year.

The event consists of a quick dip in the waters at Jericho beach, then a casual 11 km group ride around UBC, followed by a 5 km runand then the last event is snacks and warm drinks at Fay and Marinus Waterberg’s house.  Route maps and additional details are in the attached file  SAA 2010 Ice Breaker Tri

No registration is required, but send myself an email (president@thesaa.ca) if you’re planning on attending so we have an idea of numbers.
