Weekend Race Report: 13-Sept-09
Subaru Sooke International Triathlon – Sept 13, 09
I’ll let the race website set the stage: “With ideal race conditions, the beautiful oceanside community of Sooke provided the perfect backdrop for a day filled with achievement, emotion, and qualifying at the Subaru Sooke Triathlon.” With that said, SAA’s Susan Gelinas race the Half Iron Distance (1.9 km swim, 86 km bike, 21 km run) placing 2nd in her age group and setting a new PB. With the 2nd place finish, Susan qualifies for the 2010 Long Distance World Championships in Immendstadt, Germany. Congratulations Susan!
