Saturday – End of Season Coffee Long Ride

This may be the last chance at a nice long weekend ride before the weather turns to rain and we get our winter gear out. To celebrate this and to celebrate all of the SAA athletes who’ve trained / raced so hard this past season, we’re going to have a fun casual ride down to Lynden for coffee.

We’ll meet at the Pink Palace (Pacific Inn) in South Surrey and leave at 8:30am. BRING YOUR PASSPORTS! as we’ll cross the border and ride a very scenic route around Birch Bay and then onto Lynden where we’ll stop at the bakery for food and coffee. After that we’ll head home. Total distance is about 81 km.

To celebrate a great season, please wear your club gear or the great race gear (i.e. Ironman jackets etc) that you’ve purchased this year or in years past… You deserve to show off for all your hard work.

Hi there – I am wanting to join the group but for a shorter ride. I am thinking of riding an out and back of the second half (Lynden stop) if anyone else is interested in doing that. Still stopping for coffee, of course!

Thanks for all the responses, everyone. I’ve found a couple people with space for me and my bike this weekend. Hope everyone else can work out some carpooling too! See you soon.
